Q2B001 Release: More Control for Better Outcomes

SmartCommerce has released Q2B001, the first planned release of Q2 2026.
This release gives teams more flexibility in the SmartCommerce workflows they manage every day. The goal is simple: make it easier to configure, measure, and manage the experiences that connect shopper intent to retail outcomes.
More control over Click2Cart® Direct retailer selection
A key update in Q2B001 is the ability to assign custom percentage-served values by retailer for Click2Cart Direct links.
Click2Cart Direct is built for high-volume moments, helping move shoppers quickly from engagement into a retailer cart. With this update, teams can keep that low-friction carting experience while gaining more control over how retailer destinations are selected.
Instead of relying only on a fixed retailer order or randomized logic, teams can decide what share of Click2Cart Direct experiences should route to each retailer. The total must equal 100% before the link can be saved.
This gives brands more flexibility to support multiple retail partners, manage retailer mix, and test different carting strategies without adding steps for the shopper.
SmartCommerce’s out-of-stock fallback logic remains in place, helping route shoppers to available retailer cart options when inventory changes.
Existing Click2Cart links are not impacted.
A cleaner Shopper’s Choice experience
Q2B001 introduces retailer grouping for Shopper’s Choice.
With retailer grouping, supported retailers and third-party fulfillment variants can be grouped under a single consumer-facing button. Initial support includes Walmart, Target, Instacart, and DoorDash.
As retailer, delivery, and fulfillment options expand, shoppers can end up facing more choices than are useful. Retailer grouping helps reduce that decision fatigue with fewer, clearer calls to action aligned to the shopper’s retailer or app preference — without losing the comprehensive retailer inventory, availability, and connectivity intelligence SmartCommerce uses behind the scenes.
Retailer grouping is available for Shopper’s Choice in this release. SmartSite support is planned for a future release.
Drag-and-drop Measure dashboards
SmartSuite Measure now gives users more flexibility to shape dashboards around the way they actually review performance.
Q2B001 introduces drag-and-drop dashboard customization across Click2Cart, Shopper’s Choice, SmartSite, and Product Locator Measure sections.
Users can arrange reporting widgets around the metrics and views that matter most to them. They can reorder sections, add or remove KPI tiles, configure table columns, and download table-level exports that reflect their selected view.
Preferences are saved by user and implementation, so each team member can keep a dashboard setup that fits their role.
SmartSuite Measure also now defaults to a rolling 12-month view, helping dashboards render faster while keeping recent performance trends easy to review. Users can adjust the date range at any time, including switching back to an all-time view or selecting a custom range.
Scheduled access to detailed Sales Insights data
Sales Data exports in Measure: Sales Insights can now be scheduled and delivered more like other Measure exports.
These exports give teams access to detailed Sales Insights data that can support deeper analysis, recurring performance reviews, and internal reporting workflows.
Once scheduled, exports can include repeat cadences, additional recipients, SFTP, AWS S3, or Azure Blob destinations, and optional date and time stamps in file names.
This scheduled export option is available by request. Clients who want recurring Sales Data exports can reach out to their SmartCommerce CX representative for setup.
Q2B001 also adds Azure Blob Storage as a SmartSuite export destination, expanding support for enterprise data workflows.
What Q2B001 means for clients
Q2B001 gives teams more control over the SmartCommerce workflows that support retail performance.
Brands can guide Click2Cart Direct retailer selection more intentionally. They can simplify Shopper’s Choice experiences as retailer and fulfillment options expand. They can customize Measure dashboards around the way their teams actually work. And they can request scheduled access to Sales Insights data for recurring reporting needs.
Together, these updates make SmartCommerce easier to configure, easier to measure, and easier to manage day to day, helping teams turn shopper intent into better retail outcomes.
